Answered Quick Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Answered Quick AI receptionist service. By signing up, you agree to them.
1. The service
Answered Quick provides an AI receptionist that answers your calls, qualifies callers, books appointments where supported, and sends you call summaries. We configure the service for your business as part of a one-time done-for-you setup, then operate it on a monthly subscription. Features vary by the plan you choose.
2. Setup, plans, and billing
A one-time setup fee is due at signup and covers the build, configuration, and testing of your receptionist. Your chosen plan then bills monthly in advance. Each plan includes a set number of minutes; minutes used beyond that are billed as overage at your plan’s per-minute rate. Optional add-ons, such as custom integrations or the Care Plan, are billed separately and disclosed before they begin.
3. Term, cancellation, and refunds
Service is month to month with no long-term contract. You may cancel any time, and service continues through the end of the current billing period. The one-time setup fee and monthly fees already billed are non-refundable, because the setup work and the month of service have already been delivered.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to forward your calls to the number we provide or to configure forwarding as instructed, to give us accurate information about your business, and to keep your account and billing details current. You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information the receptionist relies on, and for telling us when it changes.
5. Call recording and consent
Depending on your plan and your settings, calls may be transcribed or recorded so you can review them. You are responsible for any caller-notification or consent requirements that apply in the states where your callers are located. If your state or industry requires a recording notice, tell us and we will configure one. You authorize us to handle call content on your behalf to deliver the service.
6. Acceptable use
You will not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purposes, including illegal telemarketing or calling practices. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your business and your outreach.
7. Privacy and data
We handle your information and your callers’ information carefully and do not sell it. We use it to provide and improve the service for you. You retain ownership of your business information and your customer data.
8. Service availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the service available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the service depends on third-party telephone and software providers. The service is provided on an as-is basis to the fullest extent allowed by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Answered Quick is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business or missed calls, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the prior three months.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we will make the current version available, and your continued use means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kansas.
